Anaïse Kanimba is a global development expert and human rights activist. She specializes in digital communication and the way it can be used to encourage shareholders to adopt socially responsible policies and practices. As an associate at Palladium, an international development consulting firm, for the last five years, Anaïse supported the governments of Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Senegal, Mozambique, Ghana, Zimbabwe, India, Cambodia, South Africa, Eswatini, Cote d’Ivoire through USAID and International Finance Corporation-funded projects. She speaks French, Kinyarwanda, and English.

Anaïse leads #FreeRusesesabagina, an international campaign to secure Paul Rusesabagina’s release from illegal detention in Rwanda; in this role, Anaïse has written about wrongful detention, transnational repression, and autocratic leadership for a range of publications, including The Washington Post, the Daily Beast and CNN.

Anaïse graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology of Global Health and a minor in African Studies. She joined Ridgely Walsh as a Senior Associate in March 2022.
